Safari Nordik Banner

Safari Nordik has offered hunters the opportunity to pursue Caribou in Northern Quebec's Nunavik region for over 25 years. This ADVENTURE has rewarded thousands of hunters a Trip of a Lifetime.

Our hunts take place above the 57th parallel where we operate 32 possible camp sites within 15,000 square miles of the vast tundra. We hunt the world famous Leaf and George River herds with numbers exceeding one million animals. We typically staff 8 to 12 of our camps each year depending on our needs. Six of our camps are above the Leaf River. We operate our camps from August 15th to October 10th with daily departures to Kuujjuaq in a 727 or 737 jet operated by First Air and on to camp in a Twin or Single Otter.

Our packages include one from Montreal up and back and an All Inclusive package out of the US from any major airport, whatever serves your needs best.

Michael Cantrell

Hi, I'm Michael Cantrell, Manager of the Northwest office of Safari Nordik and an owner. I've hunted and fished for over 45 years. My experiences have taken me coast to coast, south to Mexico, and North to Canada and Alaska. A lifetime afoot and in the saddle has given me the opportunity to fulfill a passion for the out of doors. Hunting and fishing adventures stuff my albums, and fill my walls with memories.

One of my favorite adventures is to visit Northern Quebec. The beauty of the vast tundra and the northern lights can't be described to enhance the true adventure. You must see it, to believe it; the excitement of the caribou movement through the north can be breathtaking. A chance to glimpse a wolf or see a musk ox, black bear, ptarmigan and more.
